Piptoporellus soloniensis is a species of fungus in the family Amylocorticiaceae. It is a small to medium-sized polypore with a semicircular to fan-shaped cap, typically 1-4 cm wide, and a white to cream-colored pore surface. In East and Central Texas, it has been found growing on deciduous trees, particularly oak and maple, often on dead or dying branches. The fungus is relatively rare in the region, but can be encountered during summer and fall months, typically in moist, shaded areas.
